Will-Kare Paving was established in 1974 by owners Bill and Karen Lake. In the beginning, the business was run and operated from their home, until a true home was found and constructed in 1977 at 95 Lower Truro Rd.

Starting with six employees in the first year, Will-Kare Paving has expanded its’ staff to 30 employees. Serving a 60km radius of Truro, Nova Scotia including Stewiacke, Shubenacadie, Tatamagouche, Maitland, Bass River, Enfield, Parrsboro, Sheet Harbour, Musquodoboit Harbour, Wallace and Wentworth.

Services include asphalt paving, supplier of sand and gravel, cold mix, asphalt repair, retaining walls, tennis/basketball courts, silage pads, and equipment rentals.

Will-Kare Paving was founded and continues to operate on the principle of providing quality work and service to our clients. We are active members of the Better Business Bureau, Nova Scotia Road Builders Association, Construction Association of Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association, and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. We are also a member of the Truro Chamber of Commerce, and Workers Compensation Board of NS.

In March 2001, Will-Kare Paving was awarded the Better Business Bureau Community Achievement Award. In 2004, the President of Will-Kare Paving; Mr. Bill Lake, was honoured with The Truro and District Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award.

As members of the community, Will-Kare Paving supports many local charities, including sports teams, Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation, United Way, and educational scholarships to name a few.
